Renewable Energy
Industrial players, multi-outlet retailers and government agencies with extensive real estate portfolios are increasingly seeing the benefits, if not the necessity, of investing in renewable energy to achieve climate and/or sustainability goals. But how do you start on such a complex project, which independent source of advice allows you to make correct, market-based choices, and how do you ensure the optimum operation of the installations in the long term? Our specialized knowledge and experience take the entire process off your shoulders and optimize your yields.

Large-scale photovoltaic installations, industrial co-generation or wind turbines not only make energy generation more sustainable, but can also achieve significant energy savings and financial returns. Ingenium uses a quick scan to map out the internal (and any external) energy demand, using satellite images to detect the advantages and possible obstacles of the site and environment for photovoltaic projects and installing wind turbines. In an in-depth energy analysis, energy production is set against energy consumption, after which the concrete preliminary study can be undertaken and the budget determined. The business plan is substantiated through technical due diligence, and the financing options (bank loan, investors from home and abroad, crowdfunding, etc.) carefully weighed up.
In the engineering phase we design the decentralized production installations. This is done with in-depth knowledge of the market and special attention to connections to high voltage networks and the grid. We monitor the works and keep a close eye on the budget and the quality of execution. Our commissioning experts take charge of the delivery of the installation and draw up maintenance contracts, with or without yield guarantees. KPIs such as availability and return are also defined and monitored. Over the entire further lifespan, we optimize the technical concepts and maintenance, and intervene in the event of any problems.
