Expansion of Callens office building
Callens is expanding on the E17 in Waregem with 2,500m² of office space and 100 extra parking spaces.
With the new office building, Callens wants to focus on the new way of working. Employees will be able to choose whether to sit at a fixed workstation, or in the concentration and study areas, the flexible desks or the phone boots. Meetings will also be possible both informally and formally, using the latest audiovisual techniques. The Callian area will focus on the employee experience, including a gym, relaxation room, cafeteria. There will also be an event space for (external) seminars, training courses, staff info meetings,....
Callens is also aiming high in terms of technology. For instance, the new building is equipped with demand-controlled ventilation, concrete core activation and a heat pump. Additional investments are also being made in PV panels for generating green electricity.
Work started at the beginning of May and completion is scheduled for the summer of 2020.
